Questions and answers about the QR code importer
The TMD Cloud imports DLX standardized data downloads. Your patients or you usually receive these via QR code, web link, or via the patient and referral portal.
We can also process zip files containing files in DICOMDIR format. These are usually provided directly on a USB stick or patient CD.
Alternatively, download the DICOMDIR files from the storage medium you brought with you and pack them as a zip file. You can then upload the zip file to the system using our importer.
If you have a patient CD with DICOMDIR files, you can download them to your computer. If the DICOMDIR data is zipped, you can import the zip file directly into your system using the TMD Cloud Importer. If not, you must pack the import data as a zip file and then start the import.
Yes, flexible data import is possible from any device.
Whether on a PC, tablet, or other mobile device, DLX import is possible without further installation or additional connection to the PACS on the web-enabled devices used, as the TMD Cloud regularly exchanges image data with your PACS via the gateway interface.
You can import the image data directly via the TMD Cloud web portal.
Please note that if you want to start the import via RIS or KIS, you will need to connect to your respective system on the device you are using.

Two steps are necessary to call up the importer directly from RIS or HIS: First, the gateway must be set up on a server to ensure communication between your PACS and the TMD Cloud, and second, the importer must be integrated with your RIS/HIS via URL call.
In addition to integration with an RIS or HIS, our importer software can also be connected to a patient portal via an API interface.
By default, the importer supports integration with your PACS, RIS, or HIS. Connection to patient portals is also possible.
Please contact us if you would like to integrate with other software solutions, such as practice management systems (PMS).
We can install the Windows computer and gateway and set up the TMD Cloud account for you within a few hours.
The duration of the connection to your RIS, HIS, PACS, or patient portal depends on the input from your respective provider.
